Himalayan Haat is located on an organic farm in Uttarakhand, where we make artisanal and seasonal preserves, juice concentrates, herbal teas, seasoning salts and sauces with our farm-fresh produce. Everything is made in small batches of 10 to 15 bottles by hand in our farm kitchen by my 70-year-old mother. We don't use any preservatives, additives, thickeners or colours etc. More importantly, we employ pahadi village women to harvest, grind, cut, chop and package all our stuff. Each bottle is a labour of their hard work, allowing them to keep their kitchen fires burning and giving them the opportunity to create something that they can be incredibly proud of.
